{81} Obstruction of Justice

Robert Mueller’s report, and testimony today, confirmed that Trump intentionally attempted to obstruct justice of the special council’s investigation; and even if Trump wasn’t entirely successful in doing so—one example being Don McGhan refusing to falsify his record that Trump hadn’t directed him to fire Mueller—the attempt with intention is criminal alone.

Without action, the corrosion of accountability for such actions taken by Trump, those associated with him, and those with similar motives in the future are at risk.
