PAYING ARTISTS
In these times of social media, art is all too often appropriated, altered, and devalued. Phantasm Gallery believes that respect for art and artist not only extends to crediting artists and sharing their work without alteration, but also paying artists a gratuity for impermissibly sharing their artwork. That’s why we created a subsidy for our Fair Share Initiative in 2020 and, since then, have paid a total of $1,181 to artists around the world.
Our subsidy is entirely funded by ongoing donations to the gallery, and we sincerely thank all who have contributed over the years. If you, too, are feeling inspired to help, please consider making a small donation directly to the gallery. Our gallery, and the artists whose work we feature, thank you.
