Rough Waters
I spent the first day of the year on the shore of the Oregon coast, marveling at tremendous waves rip and roll their way to the beach.
—
The ocean appeared to me as relentless instability of a hostile nature, not so much as tranquility. Seemingly, this is the nature of domestic and world affairs too in this moment of time.
—
May the ocean, and the world over, come to harmony in this year.
