Let Recognition Come Later

"I think there are two types of students. There are the ones who are starting to question this and then there's another kind who are more interested in success and Instagram. I'm not blaming them, they come from a generation that has been bombarded by this concept, but they're more interested in getting recognised than making good work. That's kind of a problem for me. Now you can get recognised in two seconds, but you should focus on doing a good job, and then the people will come to you.

"Years ago it was much harder, you could have done beautiful work but nobody would ever see it. Now, the focus is trying to make something good and not something that needs to be seen immediately." — Olimpia Zagnoli; It's Nice That—Olimpia Zagnoli on How Creativity Helps Us Understand One Another
