God

I recently finished reading God by Reza Aslan and was mightily impressed with its historical account of world religion.

It’s evident that our belief that we are embodied souls, from which religion arose, is a universal and elemental aspect of our human experience; this the author coherently elucidates, and further chronicles how, over time, our species humanized and dehumanized God.

It’s a fascinating, illuminating and telling story, our story, of how and why our image of God and religiosity is so multifarious throughout the world.
