artist statement: "64 individual 8x8in canvases making up a single piece of art (5x5ft) the background is the connecting aspect. All canvases connect from brush strokes from one to the other. The idea is for this single piece of art to be spread out across the world. There are 64 potential homes for one piece. Spreading that energy out to be one of the largest pieces in the world (unless someone has already done this, but there is still potential to be the largest). Made up of 64 different unique faces to represent all of us. Another idea for this piece is to have a positive spread of something considering the last year we dealt with the spread of a virus."

I loved the concept of this piece right when I read it, and now that positivity and intention has been spread to Washington, where I live. This is face 37/64. Being a part of an exclusive collection, its value and significance will only grow with time, alongside @jdotcolombo's growth in recognition and acclaim in the art world. Being the director of a digital gallery like this, I don't own too many originals in physical form. But now I own a Colombo! And seeing it hung on the wall gives me an itch to grow my tangible collection of art.
