{110} Capitol Insurrection

An insurrection? An attempted coup? What will history remember today's events at the U.S. capitol as?

And even before the ransack on our nation's capitol, an attack on the leading principle of our democracy—voters, and their will, as the ultimate authority on election outcomes—was taking place inside the building by far too many Republican lawmakers. Citing evidence and claims unfounded in truth, a fact supported by several dozen court rejections of cases presided over by both Republican and Democratic-appointed judges, these congressional members objected to the results of an election already settled with legitimacy.

This, all of this today and all that Trump has been inciting in our beloved Americans and government institutions during his term as President, is grave.
